Textile Domes
Heat-fusible textile adhesive works great on most natural fiber materials such as cotton. To ensure a secure bond, test various temperatures, pressures, and time settings. Typically the domed label is held under pressure at 350° F for 15-30 seconds with the heat source applied to the back side of the fabric. If necessary, the heat may be applied to the front of the dome at up to 450 F for 30 seconds or until the adhesive has properly penetrated the fibers. Bond strength is permanent after the adhesive has returned to room temperature.
